  1. Click on 'Start' then 'Control Panel'.
  2. Double click on the 'Display' icon inside the Control Panel.
  3. You will now be shown a window like this:

  4. Click on the 'Settings' tab a highlighted below:

  5. Now check that your 'Screen Resolution' is set to at least 1024 by 768 pixels as shown below. You can use the sliding bar to increase the screen resolution until you are happy with the settings.

  6. Click 'OK' to close this window. You may be prompted to accept the changes to your monitors resolution. If this occurs click 'OK'.
